Introducing Sandy Paws & Waggy Tails dog walking & home boarding in Exmouth & East Devon, run by a true dog loving family. Sandy Paws & Waggy Tails is me (Lee) with a bit of help from my mucky spaniel Alfie & my baby daughter Blossom. I'm not a franchise or big business with multiple employees. I spend time building relationships with your dogs (& their humans). I've been a dog owner for over 30 years. I understand that your dog is part of your family, and that using a dog walker requires a large amount of trust. Your dog’s welfare, happiness, and your own home security is paramount. I am DBS (formally CRB) checked, and I have received training and certification in canine handling & first aid. I have suitable public liability insurance & I am inspected & licensed by the council for home dog boarding at my cottage in Exmouth. I am licensed to walk commercially on Woodbury Common & follow the 'Pebblebed Code'.

I have a safe, secure air-cooled van to transport your beloved pets in comfort and safety. I never exercise more than 6 dogs at a time - usually much less. Before walking your dog, I will meet with you and your dog to discuss your needs. I will only exercise your dog off the lead in a safe environment and if agreed in writing by you (subject to satisfactory recall and temperament). I am a responsible dog walker who always respects other trail users.

For fitter and more energetic dogs that need extra tiring out, I also offer up to an hour of off road trail running where I cover around 7 miles - with a maximum of 2 customer's dogs at a time when running (individual needs can be discussed).

I walk & run in the rural East Devon area - mostly Woodbury Common & the beach. I provide a stimulating, fun exercise environment, & I am happy to reinforce any basic training requirements with your dog while out. I aim to return your hound tired and happy. I will towel down any mucky paws to the best of my ability. I understand the demands of working & balancing happy dog ownership. I am flexible & offer varying exercise times to suit your needs - whether that be shift work or '9 to 5' hours.

I offer group or individual walks, home dog boarding, puppy playtime visits & toilet visits. Home toilet or feeding visits for cats or other house pets, pet sitting & pet taxi services are also available. I also offer a last minute ‘stuck at work service’ for existing customers who are unexpectedly held up at work.
